Communications Stragetic Plan
Having a Communications Plan was one of several elements required by MSHDA for Meridian Township to submit to become Redevelopment Ready Certified. I worked with the former Economic Development Director Chris Buck in authoring this plan. It is used by MSHDA as a template for other communities to follow.
Storm Water Management Campaign
As a Meridian Township employee, I served on the PEP (Public Education Program) Committee as part of the Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management to provide public education, participation, outreach, and involvement. We created a series of marketing campaigns for Meridian Township to inform the public about how to assist in protecting the water.
175th Anniversary Celebration
I was approached by the former Manager of Meridian Township about celebrating Meridian's 175th Anniversary. Little did he realize how amazing of a year it would be, and it'd be paid for by sponsors! I looked at what former Clerk Virginia White did in honoring the 150th Anniversary and set out to make her proud kicking it off at the capital and ending with a ball drop on New Years!
Marketing and Promotion Strategy
Having a written Marketing and Promotion Strategy was one of several elements required by MSHDA for Meridian Township to submit to become Redevelopment Ready Certified. I worked with the former Economic Development Director Chris Buck in authoring this strategy. It is used by MSHDA as a template for other communities.
Website and Logo Design
When the Alliance for Community Media and Michigan NATOA merged organizations into what is now MICMA (Michigan Community Media Association), we designed a new logo including a branding kit. We also created a new website to be intuitive, user friendly, and responsive; updating content, importing data, conducting the back end web hosting, SEO, and portal work.
Educational Program Series
As Chapter President of Michigan NATOA and a Member of Michigan ACM, I lead efforts in working with the Michigan Association of Broadcasters to organize and collaborate a number of educational series on an annual basis for the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference. These sessions were geared toward members at a discounted rate as part of their member benefits.
